Radio Controlled model pics

After my 1st fly away, we realized that we needed some sort of control for our models. After a lot of looking around, I finally found what I needed. Most people start out with an ARF, or an RTF, but i wanted to build my own, so I bought a whole lot of goodies. I've found the Hitec Focus III FM to be a very convenient beginners radio, it even has mixing. RC models are also great fun to fly, you always have control over your model and the pleasure experienced flying RC is very different than that of Free flight. I started RC flying only about a year ago. I learnt to fly by myself and have practiced a lot on FMS ( Free RC model simulator, check out the links page ). The best trainers would be Free flight models, typically old-timers like the Playboy and similar pylon models. The other way to go would be to play safe and train on a pusher model which can generally take a lot of beatings. Anyway, here are some of the models I've built, click on the links for more info and pictures.
